The Tanchjim Space is the way to go. For a silent background just look at the 50mv test on ASR. This is the DAC Amirm said he’s using whenever traveling. Since he’s got the choice of everything that’s been tested, I’ll trust that’s the best for mobile DACs. I’ve got an Apple USB to 3.5mm adapter and Soundblaster X1. Both aren’t bad for noise floor until you get above 85 percent volume and then it’s audible. It’s a trick with phones since the battery is located right near the USB port which is also used to charge it, so avoiding interference is difficult. My next step is checking into bluetooth adapters like a necklace style and .78mm connectors for the Simgot EA500 so traveling is easier.

Guys at the end I bought the iBasso DC03 Pro.

The DC03Pro had also been getting really good reviews with similar measurements to the space + I had an inclination towards an IBasso product (as a brand) + it was about 20$ cheaper which covered for its shipping cost.

After initial listening, it’s got way less “fuzz” compared to my BTR5 (bought in 2019) no audible hiss to my ears. The sound has become more clinical in the sense that everything is well separated and fast.

Just leaving my two cents here. Although I do miss the fuzz a little bit sometimes, I’d recommend the DC03pro to anyone.

I use it with my U12T’s and mostly listened to shpongle tracks I was familiar with.
