Reusing timestamps from previous sales is banned on any site that knows it’s happening, because damage could have happened between owners. Sounds like overall a listing with not the best practices tying in what Cal said.
EDIT: The heck “new in box” is objectively the wrong description. They have “Excellent/like new” as the next category down, sounds like a more truthful fit to me.

I HATE it when people pull shit like this. I mean, have a modicum of integrity and be honest about what you’re selling. Especially with something that’s quality and easy to sell like the Twilights, there’s just no reason to pull this kind of nonsense.

It’s bad for sellers: An honestly described listing will look less competitively priced than it really is.
*The “new” misuse is going to be frustrating if someone has an issue and contacts them for their sale details so they can chase things up with the store or manufacturer, just to get given an email of the last owner… and find it runs 5 deep…
No one should assume the number of owners if it isn’t mentioned, I personally don’t really mind how many people have owned something before me as long as the resulting condition is fine, but people should not deliberately obscure the number of owners.

Appreciate those looking out and commenting on the classifieds post. If that is my pair and not just someone grabbing my image out of laziness (likely not for nefarious reasons based on their reviews)

There’s a dude on the head-fi thread whi appears to be claiming that he sent out a pair of Grado Hemps to trade for these and that the seller is ghosting him and relisting the Twilights. I don’t know how true that is and haven’t heard both sides of the story (obviously), but I would stay far away from this one folks. Seems like a lot of potential drama.

yeah, I also don’t necessarily mind the up charge. its theirs so they can try to get what they want but the fact that they misrepresent it (if it is your set) plus trying to up charge makes me extra annoyed

If the tip case is open it’s because I tried the L size and then washed them with soap and water and put them back since they didn’t work out well for me

Freakin Canada, always messin’ up my plans. This is like the third or fourth time in the last few months that damn border has spiked a transaction for me.
