Selling or trading my Sennheiser HD565.
They’re used but in decent visual condition - the plastic headband has a small crack in it, but it doesn’t affect usage, nor does it show any signs of increasing in size. One of the headband padding retainer clips is also a bit loose but sits in the “groove” just fine. The headband has been replaced with a fresh one, the pads are new but aftermarket. It comes with a brand new decent quality cable (I also have a NOS Sennheiser cable I’ll throw in if I can find it). The reason for selling is that I’m not much of a headphone user anymore.
Sound wise I would best describe them as baby HD600, but they sound quite a bit more “DF” tuning wise. Here is a review by Zeos.

I’m unfortunately selling my custom tuned Glamdring. I have been actively downsizing and while these are tuned superbly, I really can’t get along with the S12 shell (I prefer reason shells with deep insertion) and so they never get any ear time. My loss is your gain though! Comes with everything but the ear tips and so I threw in an 4.4 cable (stock cable is 3.5)

Base is clean and impactful as it was brought up from the original S12. The pinna was tuned down and a little more forward giving vocals a more forward and natural presentation. While it looks like extension drops off it actually is quite airy and spacious, Probably due to the planar in there.

This has the full selection of unopened tips, and is more of a catch-and-release for me. Great deal, just not what I wanted. There is a minor issue with the 3.5mm cable being glued to the cable, yet is 100% functional and might be better for you if you don’t need a 4.4/2.5. But with the money saved you can buy another cable with multiple connections. Or I can add in a Dunu Lyre cable instead of the stock cable or another cable with a 4.4 if you need that instead of the stock cable. Channel matching is perfect and can be viewed on my squig.
