Can I add a center to my stereo setup?

Hello fellow audio enthusiasts

I have a Onkyo Tx-8270 and I just recently picked up a couple of JBL 580’s. Let me tell you these are some amazing speakers. I couldn’t stop listening to music last night. I live in Sweden and that line of speakers are discontinued. However the guy I got the speakers from also has a matching center channel speaker. I am not sure if I can add it to my system though because it’s a stereo reciever and not a surround reciever.

I’ll post a link to a picture showing all the connectivites to my Onkyo and hope one of you rocket scientists can help me with this conundrum.

All the best

No you cannot. In any reasonable or making sense way.
You need a surround receiver that has the “center” channel.
Then you can listen multichannel music from that center speaker or movie dialog/action, receiver know where to send the audio or by using “all speaker” mode, every speaker will play.

Thank you sir. I had a feeling it was that way. I might still pick it up since it’s matching my speakers in case I decide to switch out my reciever at some point. If the price is right. I appreciate your help
