KZ PR3 First impressions
So not only do my set have a 3db ouput channel imbalance but they did something with Nozzle angle that makes getting a correct tonality and timbe a challenge. If you use Foam tips its better but if ypu position them properly with the nozzles angled up as our ears are normally shapes everything changes.
If you see from the pic if the nozzle was shaped at the correct angle they would not make the top stick out with the bottom pushed in to correct it.
Going to have to play more and report back.
Overall with foam tips PR3
Comming off as a bit thin and Dry towards a neutral bright tuning , not your typical Planar timbre as in past renditions.
Male vocals missing some note weight.
Stage is typical Planar great width not 3D at all with little height and almost no depth.
Sound like every song you are seated looking up at the stage front row.
I picked up the xDuoo MT-602, which will be my first tube amp. It will more than double the power of my Topping DX1, which I will use as the DAC. It was down to $84 at Amazon.
It has been in my wishlist for nearly two years. People raved about it for a year, and I just kept doing the âI donât need another ampâ dance. I was toying with the Topping DX3+ Pro, but I didnât need another solid state. In addition to the DX1, I also have a BTR5, and I highly recommend both as starter gear.
Hi @ToneDeafMonk Iâm currently in between pulling the trigger on either the ARTTI R1 or the Ziigaat Cinno and considering you have both graphed up, Iâm hoping youâre just the man to steer me in the right direction.
The CInno speaks to me more because of the super flat graph, it looks really mid-centric but possibly a little boring. And the R1 looks like a really fun, bassy set but maybe wouldnât be the most accurate. Not to mention, it is quite a bit less expensive. Iâd appreciate your thoughts big time. Thank you!
woaaaah - just looked at the graph for these bad boys and god damn, thank you for that. They do look exceptional⊠I may just skip the R1 and Cinno altogether and just get the T4.
Alright, brother. This goes against all my philosophies as an Audiophile; All BA set, they have switches, and is a complete blind buy from Ali with little to no chance to properly being able to return easily⊠f it.
We shall see, man. Thank you for the info and the rec, the graph looks beyond great. I must admit too, I hate switchers on IEMs, but on the T4, I like the different sigs it apparently has. I have no idea if these would work but Iâm excited to get them in. Theyâre a very different set from what Iâd usually buy and that in itself is exciting.
