I believe I have seen talk about xmems and was wondering if anyone has tried the moondrop concerto? From what I hear is a neutral kind of set with elevated midbass

Not heard that one , the MEMS driver in the Hiby XENO sounds great , but what a epic fail on execution and stock tuning.

As always with new tech in chifi, wait a few more gens for it to be both cheaper and better implemented. You are definitely being an early alpha tester for buying a first gen one.

Not a fan overpriced and too many red flags
On a brighter note new Shanling Audio showed up the EH1 Desktop DAC Amp and the UA6 Battery Hybrid Dongle lots of features both sounding great on first listen.
Love the fact the EH1 has Bass & Treble controls
Companion app works great.

I use Sony rubber wide bores on mine, although I have had trn t tips, I think they are called, installed (the clear ones)…

I haven’t tried the Moondrop Concerto myself, but I’ve heard similar things—it’s supposed to be a pretty neutral set with that nice mid-bass boost, which sounds great for adding warmth without overdoing it.
It’s nice, I have a loaner on review. Review is waiting on the app.

Have you tried the Unique Melody Mest OG before? I’m wondering how different the BCD effect and tuning is. The Mest also has an airy spacious treble though the mid-bass will defiinitely be lacking.

I haven’t been on my list but used was still over $1000 CDN so never bought one but with Pula below $200 that’s crazy good for CHEAP
