I would take the new Volume S over the Twilight for $320

I should a/b my two sets before I would say I can stand behind that

Ahh volume S, another set I’m exited about… mostly due to softears. Studio4, RSV, Twilight all 3 are very close to my heart. Only company who tunes their BA like a single DD, the coherency is crazy good. RSV is my vocals king and studio4 is my fav All BA tuned to perfection.

Twilight is something else for me, Literally speakers for yo ears, A iem that sounds like speakers. The more I turn them up the more enjoyable the become. The DD is nothing special but they picked the DD that works the best for the shell. Twilight shells are quite special as well, the venting system is used by them. With both combined they do some special special for my ears. Crazy holographic, 3d twinkle twinkle and super natural.

Volume S graphs very similar to Studio4, Tuning serms similar, just replacing the BAs for a DD. I’m sure it has special sauce.

Although I understand how you can say you’d take VolumeS over Twilight. After all new and shiny is always better

Softears just keeps delivering masterpieces! RSV and Twilight are already incredible, and the Volume S swapping BAs for a DD has me seriously curious. If it keeps that signature ‘special sauce,’ I can totally see it rivaling Twilight. Definitely excited to hear how it stacks up!

Sucks to be the 1% where the boxy shape does push against parts of my ear. Definitely a cool set.

Yeah @KrustyolBastid Kevin couldn’t get them to work either.

Twilight seemed to fit my ears fine, but I never got that ‘magic’ everyone else did so I had to let them go. I had no complaints but they also weren’t really anything special for me. I’m glad that so many other people love 'em though!

Oh hell yes!

And the new Waifu iBasso Jr. KLEE
Is not increased the bass over the 3T-154 more more energy up top.

Might sound good on a warmer source.

… to compensate the tuning decision I guess? Looks like a miss to me.

I was just having a conversation with Mike Bruce and Paul Wasabii, maybe my Dongle I switched to for measuring the Akliam might have a high output impedance and have squed my measurements on the last few sets.

I will remeasure with the DC Elite it has a 0.2 SE and 0.4 Bal crazy low and clean.

They are saying my ears gain is 3-4 db more than it should be.

Welcome to Topping territory

G5 is below 0.1 Ohm , Love that thing :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I somehow wanna try de Elite again now that i have the Cadenza 12…maybe the Nunchaku will find its way to me for testing.

Does anybody know if it will have two operation modes like the M5Ultra or is it tube only?

New TWS from Creatitive Labs showed up today with a Hybrid DD and XMEMS combo, sounds good on first listen once it finally decided to pair.

I put +2dB of subbass in the Creative app and it sounds excellent.

That’s a bummer. The T10 Pro is my favorite budget planar, and it’s one of the true values of the hobby around $50.

How did Artti f*ck up the T10 Pro so badly? This has the makings of one of the biggest sequel fails since the Moondrop Starfield 2.
