Closed back headphones for smartphone

Hi, i am going on a vecation and need to take some music with me. I am searching for a headphone that is closed back and do kind of have a bit warmer sound. If it is wired or wirless does not matter to me as long as it sounds good for just that purpose. The potential headphones could be Beyerdynamic dt 770 32 Ohm or perhaps Sony Mdr 1000x. The thing is that those noise cancelling headphones costs a lot.

Any tips are welcome.

Have you considered IEM’s? The Juggernauts I bought are absolutely fantastic for traveling! If you need over ear headphones the sennheiser pxc 550 are really nice. Love mine! But it depends on your budget.

I heared some good stuff about Pxc 550. I will try them out next time i visit the shop.

take the 80 Version, if you want a DT 770 - the 32 Ohm is not as detailed and has a boomy base
my Samsung S8+ drives the 80 Ohm Version just fine

but I use ifi xDSD, Fiio Q1 II, Fiio BTR 3 and Earstudio ES 100 as Dac/Amps with phone or tablet for over Ears and IEMs(Sennheiser 660s/58x, Beyerdynamic DT 1990s/770 Pro, AKG 701, Marshall Mid BT, a few IEMs…)

bluetooth Headphones are mainly not the best solution for soundquality. The Beyerdynamic Amiron Wireless and the Sennheiser PXC 550 are better in sound aspects

I prefer using a mobile DAC/Amp Solution for all of my over ears and iems. Fiio BTR 3 with LDAC or HWA BT Codecs is under 100 and you get nice soundquality and stay flexible with all kinds of earphones

what is your budget?

Thanks for the response, I have around 400 USD to go around with. I am a bit curious about Sennheiser 550 PXC but i have Sennheiser HD 4.50 and they are uncofortable as hell, feels like more on ear rather than over. How is the comfort on Pxc 550 if someone knows?

Thanks for the tip on Beyerdynamic 770, will take it into consideration.
