Hi everybody,
I am about to get my hi-fi system and I hope that someone with a little more experience could advice me on the ideas I have. I will be streaming music mainly, maybe I’ll hook up a pc for some movies, so I am going for two stereo speakers. My options are as follows:
- Klipsch RP 600 M + Schiit Aegir + Bluesound Node 2i. Simple, minimialistic, I’ve heard the Klipsch/Schiit (or how John Darko calls it Klipschiit) pairing and I loved it.
- Klipsch RP 600 M + Schiit Aegir + Audiolab M-DAC+ + Raspberry Pi Allo Digione Signature. The preamp here gives a little more flexibility for future changes and improvements and in case of adding additional Schiit Aegir offers balanced connections.
- Klipsch RP 600 M + NAD C 368 with BlueOS module
- KEF LS50 wireless II
Any thoughts/experiences would be welcome. I have no idea how the KEFs compare to Klipsch speakers, I also don’t mind or maybe even like, this minimalist approach of having the speakers only with built in everything but that’s definitely not my priority.
Cheers, Jack
