So according to some suppliers and the Verge, corsair has announced they will be shutting down Drop in favor of selling the stuff on their own site. The company bought Drop in 2023 and it seems like it was a buy them, bleed them, and shut them down type of business move. Sure many people might not have had the best buying experience or been frustrated with other things but you cannot deny that there were many colabs and products that were extremely impactful.
Crucially, it seems that a lot of the collabs with other audio brands are not on corsairs website. That includes the models from Hifiman and SENNHEISER. The beloved HD6xx seems to be no more unless if sennheiser decides to sell it (Pls do that). Corsair, you are gonna have to up the quality of the products because you are genuingly behind when it comes to peripherals. I wished I bought the HD6xx last month when it was 150 but this just a sad end to arguably the GOAT value headphone
Edit: forgot that there were some of the DROP stuff on Amazon US like the hd6xx being sold but they are like way more expensive than on drop.
Also the keyboard colab people have no clue what to do now since the tooling is like firmly being controlled by corsair more and are not sure about production.
