There are different versions available on the internet for IEC711, which one is recommended with newer mics available
What’s the budget? There’s a few on AliExpress but the results from them just never are as accurate compared to a $7k Gras45 unit, especially in the treble region. There’s the Minidsp Ears which fail around 4khz and wouldn’t use to publish test results.
The less expensive models are good for tuning a system because you can compensate a pair of headphones against known measurements. They just aren’t dependable for something like a review. I use Rightmark analyzer for running measurements like finding out which USB port is the most quiet, or checking channel balance on headphones, or pad rolling. For review quality measurements it takes some serious money though.
Sounds like ypur just starting off and want to graph your gear.

Hi @ToneDeafMonk sorry for the delay, the messages got lost.
Alibaba Doesn’t work here.
Also I was reading about new mics , do you have any suggestion on that ?
IDK but IEC711 feels a bit odd in 2024, thus asking for a more correct alternatives.
That is Aliexpress though.
EVERYONE uses this coupler. Besides like Crin with his big bucks.
Better to do the same for better cross reference.
My bad , Ali-express*
OK , let’s see how can I import them.
Maybe you need to use a proxy service to buy it from Taobao instead then. CSSBuy is the proxy I use.

(that store is legit at least I bought from them before, just dunno about that coupler but looks correct.)

(estimated shipping price of a 30x30x30cm package at 500grams, this should be way bigger and thus an overestimation of the price.)
If you are gonna use CSSBuy, sign up with my link and you get a platinum level account which saves you 2% service fees (they take 4% with platinum level compared to 6% regularly).
