There are different versions available on the internet for IEC711, which one is recommended with newer mics available
What’s the budget? There’s a few on AliExpress but the results from them just never are as accurate compared to a $7k Gras45 unit, especially in the treble region. There’s the Minidsp Ears which fail around 4khz and wouldn’t use to publish test results.
The less expensive models are good for tuning a system because you can compensate a pair of headphones against known measurements. They just aren’t dependable for something like a review. I use Rightmark analyzer for running measurements like finding out which USB port is the most quiet, or checking channel balance on headphones, or pad rolling. For review quality measurements it takes some serious money though.

IDK but IEC711 feels a bit odd in 2024, thus asking for a more correct alternatives.
That is Aliexpress though.
EVERYONE uses this coupler. Besides like Crin with his big bucks.
Better to do the same for better cross reference.

After all these months , I convinced on of the retailers to bring the coupler to me. Now tell me , how can I calibrate these ?
(The accuracy of the coupler one of my friend is using is pretty pretty good)
You need the Calibration file from the seller for that specific mic and in REW use the make Calibration file setting using a feedback loop from output of your output device and the mic input.
There are good YouTube Videos out.
