So PS4 is connected via HDMI for game audio & video. SPDIF sends all party chat (so I can hear them). I have a mic plugged into the PS4 directly for my comms to go To the party.
Then, all sound comes OUT from the USB into the Amp.
When going through the PC I have another mic plugged into the PC to go to the stream.

And I figured since the monitor is upside down I’d do the same with my chair. Makes it more exciting!

How many Khz you have now with this Configuration when the Sound comes out of the Ps 4 via Hdmi?
More than 48 khz or same?
Normally,you just connect the optical out from the Pc 4 to the Dac and connect the mic on your Ps 4 controller.
And all are be fine.
For recording i am not sure,but when The Soundcard from the Pc need sure an Optical in and out One way for the Ps 4 to Pc (Optical out to in)
And one Way from Pc to Dac (optical pc out to in to the Dac,or directly per Spidf cabel)
For the Mic is importend you connect it to the Ps 4 directly.
