Hello, I’m looking for usb DAC for mentioned headphones, there’s a lot to choose from the HiFi guides site and simply I don’t know what to choose. I don’t know the quality differences between all those hardware. I’d be thankful if someone could send me some recommendations.
Usage: lossless music, blu-ray rips, non-competitive games.
Budget: up to $150, it can be slightly more if it’s worth it.
I’d go with a $9 Apple USB to 3.5mm adapter to start with. If you want virtual surround, the $45 Soundblaster X1 has all the power, plus 7.1 for gaming and all the bells and whistles for software. Either will be more than enough power for them, and also let you equalize if you want to customize the sound.
