Auctioned them extensively recently and they’re definitely one of the best closed backs however the lack of dynamics really makes me miss the DD HPs I have.

Agree with you on this, but my impressions are done on not that good source gear, as I demoed it on fiio dac amp with screen and it was not powering the headphones well. The bass lacked dynamics, sounded very 2 - dimensional and limp. I would love to try them on a good source to see if the dynamics get better. What source did you try the dca e3 on?
Which FiiO DAC AMP did you listen to them?

Fiio R7. I almost maxed the volume dial on it. Was very unimpressed by fiio r7.
