I recently acquired the Noire and they have truly blown me away, it has me wondering just how much better is the Stealth? Wondering if anyone has heard both and can provide their input…
Ive compared them briefly today since i saw your thread. I dont have a lot of experience with the Stealth, so take it with a grain of salt, but either way, some impressions are better than none I guess: the Stealth sounds very dynamic, I had to look up the driver type to check if it’s even a planar. The Noire is dynamic as well, just not on the same level. Timbre is more natural than Noire, closer to HD600 whereas Id consider the Noire a v shape with relaxed mids, more akin to Hifiman mids. I didn’t have a good amp to test them with so that’s probably why the Stealth sounded like it had more potential. I def. wouldn’t run it with a run of the mill setup unless you don’t hear the difference.
