Denon PMA-600NE

I think the pma 800 Ne is a little better.
Because it has no dac and can determine the dac itself.
If you have one, it’s a good combo to have a little influence on it.

The Pma800ne is indeed neutrally tuned in the overall picture.
But with the digital input it’s really perverse.
I have connected the Singxer Su2 digitally and it’s really good.
Recently connected my custom hybrid amp analogue via the preamp output and also pretty damn good.
Almost better than digital if I’m honest.
The 600 was also on my list but the dac bothered me.
I was worried that it would really work on stereo systems and that Denon would do its homework.
But it also looks damn good on paper.

Have fun with the 600, :v:.

Was considering the 800 but i stumbled on the 600ne for a little more than $200. Couldnt let it go.

Thinking of also picking up an su-2. The d10s im using does a decent job but still hear some noise on some amps with harder to drive headphones and id like less of that. Would be nice to hear how it performs with the 600ne as well.

So with the Su 2 it becomes smooth without anything.
Maybe even a little dry.
But it also depends a bit on the speakers in the end.
A good mix is a more neutral amplifier with “warm speakers”.
But it’s subjective because other factors also play a role like room size, Dac ect…
