So, after noticing that formerviking had bought a pair of Sivga 006 off Aliexpress.
They also mentioned that Amazon was out of stock (something I found accurate). When doing a little more digging, I noticed something: on both the listing for AliExpress and HiFiGo, there is a color options “New Walnut Wood” and “Walnut Wood”. The difference? The “New” has a metal plate on one side that the Siva logo is engraved into.
Has anyone else noticed this?
my theory is that since this coencides with blon B8’s being out of stock from most sites the OEM who at least makes the chassis has changed contract to the sv 006 due to popular demand hopefully they get enough stock to bring these back down to sub $100

AliExpress is the more expensive one of the two, though HiFiGo is still at $100, and I guess that is (technically) not sub $100
Pretty sure that Ali Express went up in price due to increased sand but lack of stock. I’m sure it will do down in price.
FYI I noticed the difference as well, and did order the one with the metal plate just to be different 
When I purchased mine a while back, there was only one choice. I went to the Sivga website and there is only a choice for Walnut. Looking through the pictures on their site, I don’t see the plate you are talking about. But that doesn’t mean they didn’t make a change. I did see the price there was $149. I think I got mine for $98.
