Thanks - nice impressions, impressed they handle Cryptopsy and Archspire - I am sorely tempted … but then Hype4/10 and HBB Jupiter on the horizon

Yes, Cryptopsy, The Zenith Passage and Archspire are mandatory for testing such IEMs.
Maybe it’s good to wait for 4 and 10, but they will have different FR. In my opinion 10 would be a TOTL killer seeing what they did with 4 drivers. Hopefully the tuning is musical, as 2 is, and not strictly audiophile, so he can enjoy the music, though! 
TBH I’d stick with the HYPE series and leave the Jupiter ($1600) aside for now! 
yeah I’ll wait for reviews to role in. 100% with you on tuning being musical and just enjoying music - that’s what I love about the Twilights just stick them in my ears and get transported

Actually the 10 will be $899, it’s currently on preorder at Linsoul. No choice of shells, I guess.
With the Sonion BA for sub-bass and the isobaric DD X 2 this seems to me to be an absolute bass beast, but with bass control. The new Sonoin BAs for mids are also very impressive - somewhat imitating the sound of a good DD.

Never realized that it was a bass centric iem(review said it was). I thought it had nice bass but didn’t think it was a bass centric iem🤪
