BGVP Solomon, the latest BGVP flagship
Celebrating the 10th years anniversary of BGVP, the Solomon use a quadbrid 9 drivers design of 2DD 3BA 2EST 2BC, with 2 8mm PU+LCP DD combine with 1 Sonion mid BA + 2 Sonion Mid-High BA + 2 Sonion EST + 2 Sonion BC unit ( oops all Sonion ).
The shell is 3D printed resin and the spec is quite odd, the Solomon have a ridiculously low 7.3 ohms impedance ( 110.8db/100mVrms ), and a frequency range of 20hz to 70Khz.
Came with a 4 strands Furukawa Single Crystal Copper wire, the Solomon is available for the price of 7699 yuan, or 1050$.
Sounds interesting for sure. I hate it when companies don’t give sensitivity in dB/mW… They’re just trying to make the number look bigger.
Bigger is better of course.
IEM = bass cannons sold as “audiophile tools”
Finally, an addiction with good taste.
It´s part of generating hype imho…naming the new set in the same sentence as storm
Jay did that too so i am skeptical
This sounds closer to real life, building up less expectations
I had never met them before.

9k usd, gets a big old facepalm from me
Me too …
Hard pass
But they look good with a 3D BC
Sounds like marketing to me…it just looks like they placed 3 piezo based BCs on 3 different spots inside it. Not all spots on your ear is as effective for transferring BC vibrations (afaik) in which case it should be more effective to just increase the effect/gain on the single effective spot with perhaps more drivers stacked there or just a single one that is stronger.
Yeр. That seems logical. I won’t understand anyway because of the absurd price.
Fair point ,more BC drivers don’t always mean better if the contact spots aren’t effective. Focusing on one strong, well-placed driver might work better. Maybe they’re aiming for broader coverage with multiple drivers?
