I have the original beta release of the DMS Omega. HD6++ is a decent description. If you look at it like the “HD700 should be an upgrade to the HD600,” then this is what the HD700 should be. Universally comfortable for tiny and giant heads. Neutral, detailed, dynamic. I have it running on a Geshelli stack and it has great synergy.

Any idea how revealing they are detailwise? Is it on par with others around its pricerange or closer to the HD650 or somewhere in the middle?
Just found out about these and they are all gone!
Anxiously waiting on the next batch to be announced. Hopefully they will make a bunch…
Did anyone get their unit? Interested to know your thoughts. There haven’t been any reviews for this one so far.

Nope . Nary a email or text has been sent to me yet either. However I did wait my general rule of 3 days before buying a set so my 90 days has not quite happened yet ( I’m at 86 days now patiently waiting ).

So you could EQ these into anything you like, being they are neutral. My only real problem is the price. They’re just about double the cost of my most expensive headphone when I bought them, which became $200 less, right after I got them. They don’t like a tube headamp but I suppose you could put a tube buffer in the chain if that floats your boat.
I’m old school. I prefer hardware over software.
