Do usd interfaces have good headphone amps?

In the next couple of months I’m looking to purchase a pair of Adam audio T5Vs and along with it I’m going to buy a usd interface for volume control. Because I don’t wanna clatter my desk space and because budget wise I can’t afford a separate headphone amp I will be using that interface as a headphone amp as well. I was thinking of buying a Behringer U-Phoria UMC202HD but I wasn’t able to find any specs for its headphone output. Anyone that used this interface? Any suggestions for one? My maximum budget for an interface is ~100 euros

The 100€ segment has all the choices you could want.

The Behringer UMC202HD for its 63€ is definetly the price/performance winner. The inputs with the Midas preAmps are among the best (from personal experience).

Other options (by price on Thoman.de)

Brand SKU Price Note
Behringer U-Phoria UMC202HD 63€ Line & Headphone on individual knob
Steinberg UR12 88€ Can be hooked to seperate USB power supply
ESI U22XT 89€ Line & Headphone on individual knob
Tascam US-1x2 93€ Line & Headphone on individual knob
Can be hooked to seperate USB power supply
Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen 99€ USB-C input
Rode AI-1 111€ Slightly over price, but worth considering

What does USD stand for?

A spelling mistake in USB, I assume.

Personally I think the focusrite is the best choice here for quality without issues, but the behringer js pretty good for the price

I was also considering the audient_id4 as the most expensive option for me.

edit: as well as these steinberg_ur22_mk2 and native_instruments_komplete_audio_2

edit 2: I’m not that concerned about the inputs, I will barely use them. I more concerned about the headphone output. Will it be clean? Will it drive 250Ohms headphones?

While I am certainly happy with my 2i4 2nd Gen, the Solo is a little bare on the features.

The id4 is awesome if you have the budget, highly recommend. The headphone out on there is actually pretty good, it’s got a class a headphone amp
