How do I want it to sound?
I would like it to be complete. It does not have obvious weak points.
Between resolution and fun I lean more towards fun.
What over ear sound profile would I like to transfer to the iem?

Why do you think the fh9 will fit your needs?
This is not the best for FiiO, but FiiO has very good IEMs. A lot of people don’t like them, but with each next IEM I buy, I’m convinced how good my FH7 is. The FR on the FH9 looks very good, technically I’m sure they will be good. Only the separation of the instruments - ask in some forum someone who bought them, because it seems to me that there are not many FH9 owners here.

Well from looking at the FR it seems like you will disappointed with the bass. Are you in the US? If so I would recommending getting the IE600 from best buy do you can return it for no cost if you don’t like it
