In actuality, PEQ is the way to save all of us all of the money. It’s just a fact. Looks like you really dialed them in! They must sound great. The bass level looks damn near perfect on the graph!
Sometimes tracks with less than stellar bass I hear some bleed but again only a dB or so pulled out simply makes the mids bloom in the best of ways.
Sources matter more than many know. This $150 battery linear power supply with a few mods feeds both the DAC and AMP of DX340. The circuit that enables and handles charging of the 2 internal batteries is automatically bypassed when 9V up to 12V is detected on the USB-C port but only when music is playing. Pause the music and it switches back to internal battery. Now it’s quick to ‘disconnect’ and just use the 340. Anantar Ultimate V4 | Official Project Page
The linear regulation is MUCH quieter than the internal power circuits. It’s one of those you don’t know it’s there until it’s gone kinda thing
Oh and the LHY has nearly 4x the runtime as internal batteries. Yes, it’s a brick but it’s approaching legit desktop SQ territory and yet I move it all over the place without issue.
Lana Del Rey - ‘Henry, come on’ simply comes to life. The room reflections that are probably synthetic sound amazing.
Here’s the CX02-3 mapped to 622B response. Just copy the block of txt, save it in a plain text file and import into Wavelet.

or here is the straight output to enter in manually into whatever PEQ program you wish. I like Wavelet as it allows a % ‘strength’ to be adjusted on the PEQ so say you like it what it does to the sound but it’s a little ‘too’ much…dial it back to 50% while retaining the ‘curve’. The peaks and troughs simply get 50% more shallow vs 100% strength.

You’re too kind, dude.
Wowzers - I respect the hell out of this level of audiophile, but I tend to appreciate this level from afar for sure. I will say that it looks like the EQ is bang on, so I assume it sounds pretty good. I thought the 622b was a good IEM, not blow my mind amazing, but definitely good, no doubt. I think I’d prefer the bass levels of the stock Silver Flash, though ![]()
Graphs are misleading. The apparent level of bass really doesn’t change to my ear only the upper mids/treble.
I’m retired. I have time. Well not that much time but time to do what ever I want…until the dirt nap ![]()
