Interesting shells… The first reminds me of a tractor wheel…the second, hmm…maybe something out of Battlestar Galactica…like Cylon bling or something.

There’s something about the first ones (TRN Medusa?) that, with the crazy pattern inside of a clear shell makes me think of those parasitized Snails:

If it makes you feel better, the snail probably doesn’t really notice or feel any discomfort up to the point that it becomes a tasty, signalling meal. All part of nature’s cycle.
