Yeah, I think they have a bunch of handcrafted ones; I particularly like this one more. Actually quite tempted to get my own custom faceplate now lol

Not a fan of the Sound q of this one lack of bass , recessed mids and forward shouty upper mids . It a strange tuning.
And one you see that NUT on top you cant unsee it LOL
I like the look it’s kinda an IEM take on a Cartier Santos 
and defo tip roll, DX1 is very tip dependent and tbh getting a good seal wasn’t that easy for me at first (usually super easy) it has bass for sure similar to C12 imho.

The nut is a thing I like about the design, little unique. And hit home since I work with parts like that 
Tuning is sort of similar to Cadenza 12, just a tiny bit lighter in the bass. I really enjoy it, been jumping back and forth between this one and Valhalla and enjoy music with both. If one is looking for thunderous bass, Letshuoer not the one to look at. They are instead really good at nailing correct timbre, balanced sound with some warmth.

To be fair you’re usually pretty thorough with your testing, using multiple sources and tips to try and get the best out of a set. So it’ll be interesting to hear your final thoughts when you’ve had a bit more time with DX1

Did you by any chance ever have to opportunity to listen to EJ07? Does this one share some DNA with it if so?
I read somewhere that it had some of the same qualities. I love the C12 o this sounds nice for a sub 150 set.
And i think its pretty good looking, I like the industrial feel and robustness. rather that than IEMs that would fit right in to my persian friends moms livingrooms

hey bud, assume my team is in touch with you not sure if there was any fault during shipping? this is not how I (I think backed up by ohmboy too) heard of the unit I have got. Judging by Leo’s comments too, could it be a faulty set (for whatever reasons we at LS should look into this as if this happened we need to ensure it does not apply to our future mass shipments)

Material change definitely will affect the fr, and a single DD would be more affected to that than say, multi-BAs.

Interesting, so the single DD would be more affected because the diaphragm’s movement and interaction with the housing material can influence the sound more than in multi-BA designs ?
