Dope looking IEM’s, Buds and Cables ✨

This set out here lookin like a turbo charger xD

Stainless steel definitely adds weight and durability, but am not sure about its impact on sound. I reckon in theory, a denser chassis might reduce unwanted resonance and provide a more controlled sound?. I think for a single DD the tuning and implementation of the driver would be more impactful on the sound characteristics than the shell material. I could be wrong tho. But one thing I do know is that SS would make it quite a heavy set thats for sure.

Thats a unique design! Is it just me or for some reason it looks like the face plate is fabric? and it somewhat reminds of the carpet designs at either Changi T1 or T2

If Paul Klee designed faceplates then that would be it :sunglasses::+1:

Next time, maybe just a carpet on a faceplate

The FF Maestro looks absolutely stunning! The faceplate design is so unique—kind of a retro-modern vibe with those patterns and colors. Definitely one of the most artistic CIEMs I’ve seen.

LOL. Well def a suede leather kinda feel to it. I havent seen a faceplate that has that kinda texture.

Nevertheless you guys are hilarious

I think the shell material plays a bigger role than just tuning and implementation. Since stainless steel is dense, it could alter the way the moving diaphragm interacts with resonance and internal reflections, possibly affecting the overall sound signature…

Well will just wait for what @Rikudou_Goku has to say

P.S - Shit that actually does look like a turbo charger lol or a snails shell idk xD

BAs barely move air in comparison to DDs, then there is also the lack of a backwave that DDs do have, that backwave is what interacts with the shell.

For example this is how Passive Radiators works in speakers, when the active DD goes in, the passive radiator goes out. (push/pull)

Higher density = resonance hz being lower.

Example in speakers you often want stiffer materials for tweeters and less so for woofers, while keeping density high for woofers and low for tweeters.

While I do think that the DD and tuning (damping, shell structrure/shape) matters more, material is still a big factor.

(tribrid but still.)

It looks like a 200$ item, it sounds like a 200$ earphone and the features are 200$ tier. unbelievable value for the money.

Who makes it?

Qcy, the t13 anc2 model. I did a evaluation here if you want to read. For the price Its a must have if you own android(eq). For ios users that can’t eq i dont recomend it.
