Drop THX 789 Speaker Pass through issue

Hi Guys,

Shamefully ever since I got my Drop thx 789 a little over a year ago, Id been using it unbalanced to my SMSL SU8v2. During this time I’ve had my powered Audioengine A5+ running off the 789 via the RCA pass through. Recently, I finally acquired XLR interconnects to run the amp/dac balanced but for some reason I no longer get any audio coming through the speakers. Does anyone know if and how I can sort this out?

The amp will only pass through SE Input to the SE Pass RCA connectors. I just use RCA on mine so I can use pass through.
