They also like to run the āOnly a small percentage of usersā, practically stating āItās not the product, itās the user.ā
That drives me nuts when companies blame the end user for their errors
Yet they keep buying them right?? So they complain about them. What about other manufacturers? If you look at it in general terms they are holding them up to a higher standard EXCEPT FOR BEATS. I call bull. I want all these guys to go through other manufacturers high end products and then see what they have to say. Why do Beats get a pass? Thatās my question. They are a much simpler product and should be much cheaper to produce.
Iām guessing you donāt know who Louis is, nor the fact that Snazzy has done several hackintosh videos.
Why do people keep buying them?
- Cultist following
- Name brand recognition
- Apple specific software
- Apple making it harder to build a hackintosh, or run MacOS in a virtual machine
Louis sticks to his Lenovo Thinkpad
Snazzy Labsā workflow functions best with the Appleās software, and isnāt that kinda channel.
Lew HAS had hands on with whatever he can get his hands on.
Your comment makes it all the more clear you donāt know who or what the fuck iFixIt is.
Luke Miani is simply someone Iāve stumbled across, and from looking through his channel, seems to be an Apple focused channel.
Wanna keep pushing shit? Look at Marques Brownlee, aka MKBHD, King of Mobile. If Appleās the best, why is it typical that his daily driver ISNāT an iPhone? I could say the same for Linus of Linus Media Group.
Dave Lee, aka Dave2D, King of Laptop reviews
Tell me, where should I stop, or have you had enough?
Ok letās not get too far into this, letās chill here
chill pic
As much as shut on Apple I generally give their tablets and phones a pass. I can see the merit and why people use them and their hardware is generally pretty competitive and not too overpriced. And the way all apple made devices interact with the eco.system is a goal other manufacturers especially in the PC and Android space should take note of.
Just finished pre-ordering a Panda. My gut says hold off and wait for the general release for them to work out the kinks but iām intrigued by the Panda. I sold off all of my BT headphones so my daily is the Amiron Wireless. Anyone else take the dive yet?
Im pre ordering too. Hope everything run smooth.
a few of us have taken the dive I was initially tempted but my hope it all works out as well. Im just stying relatively realistic ont his one as I have been disappointed before. I want everything to work our so I hopefully I see more competiton in the higher mid fi
I share the same sentiment. Iāve been burned by Kickstarter and Indiegogo before but I have some optimism that Drop will pull through. If anything goes wrong itāll be a PR nightmare for them. I had a chance to go to the listening event but passed on it. I regret not going as I could have sampled what they actually sound likeā¦
Was considering either sony xm3 or meze 99 noir before panda announced. But lot of influencer said that panda was better than the sony. So i pulled the trigger. Since this might be convenience and sound good.
my personal issue is I cant convince myself to spend that much money on a bluetooth headphone. especially with bateries that cant easily be replaced. batteries dont last forever so one key feature of the thing wont last forever.
but if they adda feature or show me that the batterry can easily be sourced and replaced then I will certainly consider it but Im caustiously optimistic for now as I dont completely trust drop to make their own headphone yet
I figure Iāll use them as wired headphones if it gets to that point. Still get the benefits of the amp if I use the USB. But knowing me iād probably take them apart and try to replace the battery myself.
As long as it connects fine and sound good then im good. But yes, thats definitely not cheap. But, who knows?
Another review:
Well, if they improve the comfort in the meantime that would be great.
Will Bright from Drop dropped this piece of news regarding the Panda
- Weāre adding a layer of very squishy, perforated foam padding in the headband.
- Weāre weāre extending the range by 1-2 clicks
- The team has been working day and night to incorporate these changes while maintaining our fulfillment schedule.
