DSP recommendation and install help

I inherited an old-ish Marantz PM-7200 amp and had George Meyer AV bring it back to life. Since there’s no way to remove the low frequencies from the (non-subwoofer) speakers I’d like to get some kind of DSP- any recommendations? There are 4 speakers that need the hi pass filter.
The other thing is- does the DSP go between the amp and speakers? Or the DAC and amp? Or computer and DAC? Confused…

It’s between the dac (or other sources) and the amp.

Since your amp is dual channel I suppose that you wanna use 2 speakers for channel, if that’s the case, check the minidsp products or some professional crossover like the dbx 223s if you don’t need other processing features and you prefer an analog solution.

Thanks for the help here.
The sub has no xlr input so I have to go pc>>DAC>>sub>>amp>>speakers. If I understand this right in the next step it’ll be pc>>DAC>>sub>>DSP>>amp>>speakers. Unfortunately my sub doesn’t have a hi-pass filter on the output. That would’ve saved some trouble.

Is the sub active? if it is, the connection is PC > DAC > DSP after the mono channel with low pass to the SUB the left and right with high pass to the amp and from the amp to the speakers

That makes perfect sense. It seems so obvious now
The sub is active yes.

Bad news- the freshly refurbished Marantz PM-7200 doesn’t play from the Mini DSP and over the last couple days developed a little background hiss [noise]. Any recommendations for an amp that will power 2 pairs of bookshelf speakers (Energy RC10s and RSL CG25s) with up to 150w per channel at 8 ohms? It’d be nice if it had a pre-out or sub out.
$1000 or less is the price range. Thanks.
