Which one is better for gaming especially hearing footsteps, also can I get some EQ recommendations for that pad please.
I use this eq for equalizer apo, but with balanced pads
Preamp: -5 dB
Filter 1: ON PK Fc 62 Hz Gain -6 dB Q 2.5
Filter 2: ON PK Fc 220 Hz Gain -8 dB Q 0.9
Filter 3: ON LSC 0.71 dB Fc 250 Hz Gain 5 dB
Filter 4: ON HSC 24 dB Fc 4000 Hz Gain -10 dB
Filter 5: ON PK Fc 5600 Hz Gain 10 dB Q 4
Filter 6: ON PK Fc 8000 Hz Gain 5 dB Q 4
Filter 7: ON PK Fc 9000 Hz Gain 5 dB Q 4
Also don’t forget to choose at least 88.2/96khz when using any EQ.
Personal preference but stock imo is better. Dekoni do add soundstage(ear is further from the driver)
Doesn’t need it for placements. Only needs it for casual use, dial in the treble, or raise upper mids
Do you mean balanced pads as “stock” since it came with it or analytical pads? Seems like most people didn’t enjoy balanced pads.

A pads, not B pads. B pads yield much more bass like DT 990. Headphone should come with both. Seems rather random which are on the headphone though, mine came with analytical on… but ive seen others that came with balanced on.
