Hey M0N, since you helped me through all this process of buying a new set of headphones, amp and DAC. I think you might want to know the final results.
So, I ended up with the DT1990, DX3 Pro and The Little Bear P7 Tube. And I’m very happy with this setup.
The DX3 is very practical with a remote, switchable preout for my Monitors, has Bluetooth and all. Very nice
And the P7 did exactly what I needed to the DT1990. It smoothed up things, made vocals way smoother and toned the treble down a bit. I can’t really describe the sound in details now because I haven’t tested it extensively, but I can say I enjoy music a lot more through the tubes, haha. Now I just want to listen to music and enjoy for a while, and don’t think about equipment and technicalities for a bit.
So, when this honeymoon period of just listening and enjoying ends, I might compare the two amps and see what exactly the P7 is doing, but for now I can say I like it.

Perfect lol, the 1990 tubes nicely, so when you want detail and technicalities the dx3 pro and for just sit back and relax enjoyment the p7
