Earstudio portable almost dongle dac/amp.

Tbh, if it came without the app, I find the es100 pretty underwhelming. Functionality was fine, but never liked the sound.

Compared to the BTR 05, the ES 100 has a rather sterile, cold sound and the app is too Chinese for me when it comes to explanations.
I would prefer the BTR 05 in 100 out of 100 cases.

I can agree with that. But btr5 just came out. Es100 was out way before that.

Looking forward to the HUD100, listen to what it can do and for what money.

I was hoping they would make a real desktop amp because I prefer the es100 to my atom and loxjie p20, but the next for me is still going to be either asgard 3 or rnhp.

I mean, even between the es100 and the BTR3 I’d probably take the BTR3 even though it doesn’t come with a balanced out
