Edifier Active Bookshelf Speakers

Has anyone had any experience with Edifier Active speakers?
I am considering the following speakers

Edifier R1700DB

Edifier R1850DB

Other ones I am considering
#JBL 104 4.5" Studio Monitors
#Peachtree Audio M24 (need to import)
#Kanto Yu2/4 Powered Desktop Speakers

The edifiers are pretty good. I would say if you want a more accurate sound for nearfield on a desk, the jbls might be up your alley. The peachtree and kantos are also great speakers as well
