I’m gonna post some other tracks, typically form different genres subgenres. See if you like them maybe we can point you in the right direction. It’s mostly going to be either house, techno or electro, since that’s all I know
Also one of my all time favs. Tipper is in my top 5 all time artists. The new album (Marble Hunting, released like 2 weeks ago) is goooooood, and has a bunch of tracks from his recent shows. We play this (the album you posted, and others) on our Marantz series 30/SACD 30n hifi.
Nice ya I’ve been shuffling that one as well, he’s got such a unique style and he loves hiding ear candy everywhere. I like to put in his live shows on YouTube and do shit around the house.
Lords of Acid!! Hahaha now you are taking me back to my youth! Maybe some Thrill Kill Kult, Confessions of a Knife, next? Kooler than Jesus, but probably not cool enough for hifi. Prodigy, of course, is also an old fav. Older Chemical Brothers and Daft, and away we go, but their later stuff imo is mehhhh
I think this Prodigy album came out when I was like 16/17, I was truly lucky to grow up with such great music at that time of my life. Great now I have to go on another 90’s binge lol
Haha we are with you!! Wife and I were also around 16/17 when this was new, (76er here), and this is a musical journey we go on all the time!! Sometimes an alcoholic beverage or 2 triggers it, other times we are just up late and looking at old photos or something, and then the old playlists come out.
Jack Dangers / Meat Beat Manifesto? Grunge music? Older NIN? (Later in the 90s), but Josh Wink? Like Vibert / Wagon Christ!!!
80 here, so ya you definitely know how we lucked out in time period. Nostalgia nights with a drink are some of my favorite nights, I was pretty closeted though with discovery, basically MTV and a few forums when the internet were young. NIN definitely, Downward Spiral at 15, he was an idol when I started producing, then Manson/Tool. Electronic for me was very top level, didn’t get in to underground until way later.
