Electrostatic Energizers

So the energizer for my esp/95x failed on me. I don’t live in a country that has a koss repair center or anything similar. I wanna open a discussion on standalone energizers that preferably won’t cost an arm and a leg. What should I look out for when buying an energizer? What does the difference in power mean? Where can I get my hands on them? Etc. The srm-353x seems to be held to high regards, but it costs more than my entire setup. Are there cheaper alternatives?

The SRM 252S is the cheapest energizer available and is pretty good.
Not always available as a separate but it’s available in the the UK for around £500 GBP.

Another consideration is a lot of the connections are proprietary, so I believe these Stax energizers will further require expensive adapters (or DIY). Others can be more helpful on that.

I don’t know about freight costs n such, but you can buy adapter cables on HeadFi and Ebay for about $100 USD, so the Koss eStats will work on a Stax energizer.
