Entry Level Tube Amp?
I recently bought a sennheiser hd6xx and I heard it goes well with tube amps so i was in the market for an entry level one. I’ve been looking at the little dot mkii or xduoo at-05? Which would you all recommend or are there any other tube amps in the same price range I should consider?
I think the little dot mk2 is a good choice as you mention, another stand out option is the darkvoice 336se imo
The ta-05 is good but it’s a hybrid amp, so you wouldn’t be getting the full effect of a tube
The dark voice is a little out of my price range so I’ll probably go for the little dot. I’ve heard a lot of people change the tubes. What tubes would you reccomend and where could I buy them from?
There are a ton of options to what tubes to use and how they affect the sound differently. Personally I have only heard a few little dot mk2s (one stock and two with NOS tubes) so I can’t comment on what pairs the best
There is the Little Bear P-series but they’re a little weird. The P7 uses the same power tube as the Darkvoice but the same two tiny Loxjie P20 tubes.

If you can find a good example used it’s a great amp, although I don’t know if you can find one in this price range tbh
Do you know anyone who heard it? Or have you heard it yourself?
I wanted to buy one. But there’s too little information about it online
I’ve only seen it on Amazon, it just looked too strange to not be intriguing. The tubes it use seem a little hard to come by compared to the Little Dot, I’ve only been able to find NOS tubes.
