European places to buy

That’s cool but if the item is “expensive” then the insurance needs to cover that.

…He probably is doing something that he should not be doing?
I presume all the data will be electronically monitored, so the penalties might be substantial if something “fishy” is going on.
The local tax office might notice something off if 5000$ priced speakers are being sold of 5e since the EU starts to work together to stop “gray” economy.
Besides of that. Since everything is checked by local customs… you have something labeled speakers and weight is in 20Kg or something and price tag is 5e… it will most probably raise some red flags in the system… so.
We will see where this goes and what happens in near future.

Well, its more about these 300 usd iems being declared at 50 usd or something. Rather than the extreme example you gave lol.

Problems here again…if a company keeps under declaring the value of exports it won’t take too long for customs to catch on…Oooo my new Blon 03’s where declared $20 but the package is insured for $3K

Might get away with a few items but once flagged the company will be hit…as it’s an offence in pretty much every country to mislead customs and for a “reputable” company it ain’t worth the heat.

https://www.headonist.fr/ is based in France (Paris if I am not mistaken). They sell the high-end and luxury audio products.

What if you don’t have insurance then? Don’t even know if the standard aliexpress shipping has it lol.

Maybe worth a risk on cheaper items, but how much will you save on a $100 item :man_shrugging:…no way I’m gonna order Odin’s without insurance would you?..just no way lol.

We have the most controlled tax and pay system probably in the world.
No way. Anyone will under declare the value from company/business side.

You could be drunk.
Set a buss on fire and kill a 100 people on a street. drive the burning buss full of people to school that burns down after that. Just say i was drunk and it was good idea.
You might get week in jail or so.
But leave taxes unpaid or try to “jiggle” the system so that government wont get the tax money.
You literally are the public enemy number one and have to pay everything back with 1000x rates and take 99 life sentences. It’s super serial here with payments and taxes.
All the above might have some altered truth. lol

I wouldn’t order it to begin with lol.

Aye ya would if you paid “$20” and it got lost in the post and claimed back the $3399 :upside_down_face:

Don’t have that kind of money lol.

Just found this thread because I was thinking about making something similar. This should be stickied or something…

I recently bought my Liquid Spark stack from Audiophonics.fr and I think it is a decent website, only place I have found this stack in Europe.

Keep in mind that if you buy something like that from them you will need to buy US to EU socket adapters (also make sure the voltage on the transformer works for european plugs as well).

I also just ordered a Sundara from Magna Hifi. Support replied instantly to a couple of e-mails and they seem trustworthy so far. The shipping is on the expensive side but they have price match on their products so usually they are cheap enough to compensate. For example they still have Sundaras at 350 rather than 370.

Still I haven’t received so I can’t vouch 100% yet.

I have only positive experiences with both, Audiophonics and Magna Hifi. I ordered several items from audiophonics in the past years and they were quite reliable and helpful (they dealt with the recall of my Topping L30 very professionally). My SingXer SA-1 is from Magna Hifi (located in the Netherlands) and they were also very responsive and kept me well informed on the status of my order. Delivery to Germany was not always the fastest but that’s partially due to CoVid. They may not be the cheapest options but I can recommend both shops for EU customers.
