Everything SJY Audio

If I recall A70pro has more distortion above 2W but still

I thought it just came out? Did someone review it already?

I have been looking but so far, I have not seen one.

people were talking about the specs sheets comparing the A90D to the A70pro

So after getting 4+ hours more of listening in with the Gjallarhorn I have come to the conclusion that Starry Night likes the Schiit house sound! Lol, I am really enjoying the pairing.

I’ve been using HD560s for a while and wanted to try some closed back planars. I received my Silent Night v2 s and have been really enjoying them with an emotiva A2m with the jumpers in place to output full speaker watts through the 1/4in Jack.
Im new to headphones but these have sounded pretty amazing to me.

Nice, glad to hear that you are enjoying them. I have several pairs of headphones including Arya Stealth, and since I got my pair of Starry Night v1 I have been listening to SN 90% of the time. Lol

Welcome to HifiGuides, and happy listening!

If anyone is interested in the Gjallarhorn to power their SN there are 2 B-Stock units available at the moment.

can the rebel amp power this

It should be able to since it meets the minimum requirement of 1 watt of power. Granted all of the amps I have tried were 5 watts +. That being said not all watts are created equal, so that 1 watt might do it for you. They do open up more with more power though. For context I have tried the previous revision on the Burson Soloist 3xp, Topping L70, Schiit Asgard 3, and Schiit Gjallarhorn (speaker amp). It sounded its best to me on the Soloist (class A amp) and the Gjallarhorn (class AB amp). Hopefully someone who has experience with your amp can weigh in as well.

Well, he posted the preorder for the open back version, and I placed my order.

Thank you for the support!

I wasn’t planning to publish it right now but forgot to delist the Moonlight from products list . I got the new website edited yesterday with a new collection and description of the Moonlight, just haven’t publish it yet.

Glad you did though, as I was originally going to buy another piece of gear for my birthday. This took its place,.

Thanks, I will posts updates constantly just like before and send me a email if you got any questions. The Moonlight have a new pure silver driver at 58ohm, which is a big step up from before. I will reduce the impedance down by half to improve the sensitivity for the final product.

I LOVE those dragon ones!

It is nice that you can power the SN V2 properly with more affordable amp options now. This will make them more accessible to a larger portion of the headfi community. I am still interested in what he thinks of the Moonlight model.

can you share any info on the moonlights yet? aiming for a open back starry night or slightly different?
