My understanding with the ex1000 is that they’re brighter than ex800, but could you not just EQ the treble on the ex800 to achieve a similar effect?
I do enjoy my ex800, but I will say that I enjoy my S8Fs more (i think V shape is much more my style)… so I’m debating if ex1000 will be worth the $ based on my tastes
It is an upgrade, but imo I don’t think it would be worth it if you are enjoying the s8f more (as you might want to go higher end into that direction). I think the ex800 offers more bang for buck than the current prices of the 1000
