Expensive Comfortable Open Backs

It’s pretty good imo, just didn’t think it was for me tbh

I’m putting a big headphone order in which includes lcd 4, Susvara, RAD-0, and Utopia. All so getting the hugo tt2 and gsx-mk2. Any suggestions?

Didn’t you have a rad-0 at one point? I have one but I might end up selling it off soon.

Also perhaps consider the lcd 24 instead of the lcd 4, as I think the 24 is a fair bit better tuning imo, I really like mine

Now I put the blue Hawaii se and the 007 mk2 in my cart I’m looking to stay around 20,000. Headamp is giving me 20% off that price. Just to make sure the other name for stax 007 mk2 is omega?

I don’t think it’s been called that, but I could be wrong

I had RAD-0 but I think the ifi pro ican wasn’t a good match as people are swearing by the gsx-mini.

I also have a pro ican now and I don’t think it’s that much of a mismatch. I just think the rad0 is somewhat flawed, so I am most likely going to sell mine

Oh, the people with with a high amount of expendable liquid assets have arrived to converse about the creme of headphones! Must make room.

you can ask about anything. I own Avia and phantoms which I like allot. I just came into some $*!% you money. Don’t worry the rest is invested for retirement. But I don’t want to try and remember the Autuers sound sig. I just remember they are worth the money.

I changed my mind and deleted the rad-0 don’t want to take a chance. Now I’ll have to think about the LCD 24. Also estat setup or gsx mk2 with susvara?

I personally would prefer the susvara for most music tbh, but it depends on your personal preference

I’m looking for the lcd 24 but it’s not on Audeze website.

Haha thanks. I was making a joke.
Any level of headphones can be enjoyed I think. Except for beats maybe. And apple airpods. Among others.

It’s a special edition so it might not be listed anymore

Do you want the Autuers the most?

Hmm… good question. They certainly look beautiful. That’s what drew me to them lol.
As of now I have Audioquest Nighthawk Carbon and KPH30i. The headphones I have tried are ranked as follows disregarding price:
Audioquest Nighthawk Carbon
1More Triple Driver “Over-Ear”
Sennheiser HD6XX
Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 250 ohm
Koss KPH30i
Sennheiser Momentum original
DT 770 Pro 80 ohm

I tend to like V shaped sound signatures with really wide soundstage. But I do appreciate things like the HD6XX for its detail and warmth. I imagine the HD600 would be even better at detail. The Nighthawk are special to me though because they have a very unique sound. It is really hard to describe them. Super wide and good bass with good treble detail, yet not harsh and recessed somehow? Midrange is decent too. The imaging is really strange and almost 3D in way, with sounds coming from different places. I don’t know they are just different, and I love them.

I think the Autuer leans towards warmth. When Zeos gave his review he said somethings about them I didn’t agree with. Resolve Reviews has a better break down of that headphone. Out of your list the closes is when I had hd650 which is a great headphone.

Their website says it has good extension into the sub bass, and I love good sub bass.
Yeah the HD6XX is just the massdrop version of the HD650 from what I hear.

Aspen, if price isn’t an issue, you shouldn’t just consider open back headphones like the Stellia have a very wide sound stage, despite being closed back.

Stealing someone else’s words, the stellia sounds brown. I would try that one first
