If you don´t switch your cable 20 times a day I think nothing will happen.
Is the cable very loose when it is plugged in?
If not it´s probably better to not worry too much and just enjoy the sound 
When a problem occurs later on you can still get it fixed
I have the iem cuple months unplugged the cable until now about 30 times it’s alot?
Just because the connector is detachable doesnt mean you should do it…
Just have it connected to a cable you like and never remove it.
If you take IEM out in daylight and take some sharp pictures it would be easyer to see😊. Use a good phone camera, or maybe borrow a good camera.
