Hello there! My first headset (The Logitech G430, not a great pair, but they were cheap) just died a few days ago, and, having watched Zeos, found that the MH752 were quite nice for the price, having been designed on the Takstar Pro 82. But I recently discovered out these had a crosstalk issue, so I’m considering returning them.
So here are my questions:
Do I keep the Coolermasters just for the sound or do I return them and keep searching for another headset?
If I do return them, what closed back headphones do you recommend for Music(EDM, Electronic, House) and Casual Gaming for around 200-250$(budget can stretch a bit)? I was considering getting DT770-880s or Custom Studios/COPs, could use opinion on that too.
Additional (maybe helpful) info:
PC only, I prefer Gaming over music, BUT, I don’t play competitive and too many FPS, mostly single player games.
I currently have these headphones: G430 (Dead), Jabra Revo (Now discontinued wired version)
I currently do not own an external DAC or AMP.
I have an XLR Mic, but wouldn’t mind if the headset had a Mic
What crosstalk issues are you having? I own the mh751 and do not have cross talk issues. If you’re talking about the cable rubbing, there’s cheap ways to fix it if it really bothers you.
The output channel is getting mixed up with the input channel, Eg. If I play music through the headphones, the person on the other side can hear my music through my microphone, even when the microphone itself is not attached. This is annoying as I can’t use the microphone function at all while listening to music.

But i don‘t know they are good or not.
I have personally the Custom Game in use and is good for all.
You can use outdoor when you would for listening Music.
And the Microphone are very good for Gaming.
And the Soundoption are special and not Bad .
The Mmx 300 is just a Dt770 with a Micrphone.
You can buy only the Dt770 and a sepaerte Microphone when you would.
How are you connecting the headset to your PC? I have the MH751 (headset without the soundcard). I found that using any splitter to connect to a desktop or soundcard causes that crosstalk. I plugged the cable into a combined jack on my laptop and phone, and the issue disappeared. Not sure what the cause is, but it is definitely a design flaw. I’m curious if you have the same issue with the USB soundcard.
