Fluance SX 6 Or Micca RB 42

Hi. I’m on real tight budget. I can get the Fluance SX 6 or the Micca RB 42. I have a dac and an Emotiva BasX A100 to drive them. I am a bit treble sensitive [ tinnitus] and have heard that the SX 6 can be a bit too bright. That could be because the people who have said that didn’t give them a proper burn in, I don’t know. I’m going to be putting them on stands on either side of my desk. Primarily I will be using them at the desk but also for music in the bedroom. Any advice?

I’m using the RB42 in my bedroom mostly for watching films and to me, they sound neutalish with great bass quality. I doubt treble would be a problem with them for you. I can at least vouch for them being awesome.

I would say if you have treble sensitivity the rb42s might be better suited

I also have a set of RB42s in my bedroom and agree. Nice bass, I don’t find them overly treble-y.
