Can someone help expand on comments around isolation and clamp force.

Following is based on my very initial impressions. Maybe things will change as the headphones break in and I figure out how to fit them better?

I just got a pair of celestee looking specifically for good seal and isolation. I cannot tell if there is an issue with the pair I got, my head shape, or warped expectations… but I’m VERY disappointed.

Compared to other headphones I have (HiFiMan Sundara, Oppo PM-3, and Sony mx3), for me the clamp force is almost nonexistent, or at least wrong.

All of the weight is on single spot on head band with no additional support from clamping. Due to the springs in the hinges, what clamping pressure that is present is on the bottom / jaw line of the pads. If I press in on the top of the cups to fix the angle and balance pressure between top and bottom both comfort and seal improve significantly.

I was expecting so much more, and unfortunately I got them as open box purchase so I cannot return without taking big hit in restocking fee. (I won’t make that mistake again.)

I’m looking for a closed back around 1000 to pair with my A&K SE180 DAP and you mention most of which I think about. Why did the T5 3rd gen not compete?
Have to say that I’m not as qualified as other people on the forum and thus a bit lost with all the reviews and other stuff i read. So if someone have advise, you’re welcome!
