I might consider selling mine in a couple of weeks. Trying out a new headphone in the meantime. If youāre not in a hurry, feel free to send me a message if you havenāt found anything by then.
Not in a hurry at all, I will shoot you a message. Let me know when you want to sell them
Found the ElegĆas for 499 Euros at Fnac, french site, it took less than a week to get them to Sweden. Really pleased with them. Itās a bargain.
Had listened to the Celeste but found more intimate than the ElegĆas.
You are going to have a very happy girlfriend.
Damn, still a bit more than I was planning to spend, but a great deal for sure. Was hoping to get some come into the 2nd hand market for 300 or so⦠Not sure if that is realistic though, and maybe I should just buy theseā¦
p.s. how do you find these kind of deals in the first place? Been searching quite a bit past days but hadnāt seen theseā¦
p.s.2. Did you question them about warrenty @Perico might have to bite the bullet lol
Just searching, got lucky I guess.
My french isnāt that good, but the warranty for a new product should be at least 1 year being in the EU. They are solid built so if you just take care nothing should happen. They are still at fnac.com at 499. Fnac is a major chain in France by the way.
Looked on eBay but even used are more expensive. I saved basically 50% of the price in Sweden. Even if you getting cheaper outside the EU VAT comes into play. With Brexit a lot of audio stuff got more expensive and harder to find.
Does anyone have had any experience with Shipibo Audio in Polen. They make cables and they have an ear pad for Grados that I might fancy. Hard to find cables in the EU and buying in the Us is a hassle.
Thanks, came to the same conclusions but always nice to confirm with someone who has gone through the process. Looks like they have been on that price since January looking at their reviews. Thanks again, just gonna order these
No experience with that webshop sadly
Just bought 1 from adorama couple mins ago. I have the Clear MG and I was looking for a closeback and the elegia was on slickdeals lol
$399 plus tax.
Personally, for $400 I think these are phenomenal. Itās the best closed back office/travel set Iāve found. Easy to power, good isolation, that Focal sound. Couldnāt be happier with these for what I use them for. Theyāre not my go-to sitting at the computer and relaxing, but love them for work and travel.
Iāve had the elegias for more than a week now and Iām having a fantastic time. Itās my go to close back headphones, I have the dt 770 80ohms which was the only close back I had. But sinced I got the Focal Clear MG Iāve been wanting that focal sound in a close back formed, luckily Elegia was back on sale and couldnāt be much happier with the purchased.
Itās connected to a geshelli erish>smsl su-9 and enjoying every minute of it.
Also tried the Elegias for gaming and Iām surprised how everything sound good; Good separation, soundstage is about right (not to wide or narrow)
Anyone have a good headband cover option for these? So many donāt seem to give dimensions when searching. I have just been using the felt they came with and slapped a piece of velcro on the felt.
The most popular option I have seen is a knitted headband but Iām not too sure where to get one.
I use a Geekria one thatās 11cm. Itās a little bit tight, so Iād recommend one a bit wider.
Thanks. I have seen a knitted one on AliExpress (also sold on eBay), just not sure how much I like it and the color options.
I was looking at some of the geekria ones, but I think they are about 3cm too tight
This is what Iām using:
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G4T07IK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
When I measured 5" looked like the size needed, but I will trust you and the first hand experience. Thanks.
Same here, using this Geekeria for a few months now and it is fine. It doesnāt move around and seems overall comfortable.
Well that settles it, ordering.
