From cases to water cooling to.... Speakers?

For those of you into custom computer hardware, you have probably heard of Phantex. Got big from making cases before expanding into custom water cooling equipment and teaming up with SeaSonic to make power supplies. Sure, they’ve had their fans and a few coolers, along with some RGB stuff (Halos fan frams)… But now speakers?

No mention of specs beyond 6W RMS 9W Peak

**Shipping is cheaper on Newegg

lol complete with RGB as well some hard core gamer bait right there

Has the same shape as their cases as well. I have the phanteks 440 case and I like it. Small enough to be compact but I can still use a full atx motherboard. I don’t go for useless gamer things often. I mean I did get the rgb Corsair headphone stand a while back to compete my keyboard and mouse lol. But that’s a bout it. I’m not going to buy an rgb hdmi cord or any of that. I would’ve gotten rgb ram sticks since my case is pretty lit up but the 16 gb (2x8) I got was considerable cheaper at the time (my most recent built was during the ram price gouge crisis of 2018).

Razer has tried doing the gamer speakers and mics as well but those have seemed like garbage personally. The meaning of “gamer gimmicks” slapped onto trash to charge twice the price. I don’t necessarily consider trust these to be much better but I could be wrong. They don’t seem so much like razer (I’m not too big of a fan of their stuff to be honest) so maybe they will be decent. But I’d imagine most people on this forum are either going to spend their money on better headphones or better speakers for the price or cheaper than what I’d imagine these will be.

Thus is true. I can say I do love my Razer Blackwiddow Ultimate 2016 edition, and I miss my Logitech G502.
So far as I know, some gamer headphones have gotten… Better. At least compared to what they used to be.
As for gamer speakers… I can’t say anything about it.

Haha true. I had a steel series headset that was pretty decent but I’ll still take any of my headphones and a separate mic any day. Yeah I’ve never owned a razer keyboard or mouse but they seem decent. It’s all the other random junk I the put out I don’t understand. I can’t use anything other that Corsair for keyboard. I tried my friends Logitech but my muscle memory is so adjusted to Corsair after using it for like ten years that I can’t ha. I use a Logitech 902 wireless that is amazing. That with the power mat thing that keeps it always charge. It’s basically as or more responsive as most wired gaming mice and is always charged. Amazing. When I use a wired mouse now it’s so weird feeling the cord drag lol. I kinda want to get the 502 wireless because it works with the charging mat and I like the shape more

I can’t stand the Corsair mice I’ve tried, and I do not like the Romer-G switches from Logitech. I’ve got a Steel Series mouse right now, but I liked my 502 better. Sadly it was stollen.

corsair mice and romerg switches arent very popular for a reason
logitech are on top of the game in terms of mice and in tehms of mech switches romerg are among my least favorite

I love Corsair keyboards but not mice. Love Logitech mice but not keyboards lol. I’m sure that Logitech boards are as good or better but the key spacing is different so it’s hard to switch over.

I’m all about those brown switches myself. Perfect middle ground. Had the reds with my first but way to sensitive. Blues were too mushy and clicky/loud. Browns are juuuuuuuuust right

I’ve gt Razer Greens (blue equivelent) and I’ve tried linear switches and did not care for them. Been looking for a cheaper 10-keyless with brown switches

Yeah, I really only like cooler master keyboards as far as gaming keyboards I’ve tried. They seem like the closest to a normal board. And I like cherry browns as well.
I’ve never liked anything razer until the ultimate wireless mouse. I love that thing. I also like the Logitech 403 wireless.

Theyre nice. Look clean too.

I’ll have to check em out. I’ve been interested in trying the steel series apex pro. Not that I really need a new keyboard lol. I’ve been using mine for 2 years and I tend to get 6 years of life out of them. My last one was basically falling apart until I finally parted with it lol. I get very attached to it.

Yeah I like 80% keyboards or less. I’ve been using a poker3 at home and work for a couple years. I like them. I changed out the case to a high profile case. Dampened them on the inside. Lubed them up and added some better keycaps. Feels really solid. Very satisfying to type on and really nice sounding. Pretty quiet overall.

Yeah, I’m more looking at a smaller form factor due to size constraints in my dorm room. My full size is just a bit too big, though I typically want to ensure I have a num-pad.

Get a 60 and add a num pad to the left side of board.

Got a suggestion for a cheap 80-60% with tactile silent switches?

How cheap? And silent, like an actual silent switch or a quieter one like a cherry brown?

quiet like cherry brown, and sub $90
Preferably with back lighted

Annie pro 2 is decent. Check em out.
