My father has one without a num pad, you set the time using “+30s, +1min and +5min”. Not a fan of it but hey, if it suits you.
Mine has a dial with close to perfect speed ramp. That is the way it should be done.

No, is from a local brand owned by Whirlpool. I myself like the numpad. But I will say the concept of @MazeFrame is pretty interesting. Who doesn’t like a good knob in this hobby?
