Taco shells are inherently flawed. Lol. Hard shells fall apart the moment you bite in. And I’ve yet to meet a taco shell - whether hard or soft - that is big enough to be worthy of being used at a taco bar 
The Russians solved that problem back in the 60s. They just used two tortillas.
