we had a dog like that…she would walk herself when dad took her out. the part of the leash below the hand loop became so chewed up my mom had to make a new one. she used that strap material you secure truck loads with (not bungee, the wide thin stuff).

It’s supposed to contrast with the common and broadly accurate complaint that male characters are covered in heavy armor head to toe while females are in the most revealing and figure-fitting ensembles possible.
The joke is that someone unfamiliar with the games would think these were being offered as valid examples, not as satire.
