I laugh as I enjoy a fresh pot of Versailles Lavendar Earl Grey!
If you’re going to be a tea drinker, you need to be drinking Red Rose.
We buy Twinings/Tetleys here (the States) and both are verifiably weaker than the same make and blend in the UK.
Good thing I was always a coffee drinker!
Here in Canada Red Rose has been big for over a century. It started in New Brunswick (Atlantic Canada) in 1894 and eventually reached down into the US.
It is a nice tea, if you are looking for a change.
Funny you should say that; my mom would not drink anything but Red Rose. She and my Father were from Maine. As it happens, my first exposure to tea was Red Rose. I am not sure why now I am getting deeper into tea, but it’s been fun. Diving into the world of loose leaf has been very satisfying for me. There is some amazing stuff out there. I enjoy the process of making a pot especially.
Anyway, back to the funny stuff!
